CLASSICAL YOGA - LEVEL 1

A beginner yoga class that focuses on alignment to help develop strength, stamina, balance and flexibility!

For experienced students. A wider variety of poses will be studied more deeply and more complicated poses will be introduced.

COUCH TO 5K (ZEELAND ZOOM)

10 Year Olds - Adult

Ready to get in shape and lose weight? Join us for this 9-week training program! You will train 3x per week (twice on your own and one time as a group) while also receiving training tips on form, warm ups, cool downs, and more! The training program concludes with the group running together in the Zeeland Zoom 5K on June 22! The program fee includes all training sessions, the race registration fee and the race t-shirt.

DEEP H20

Use the water’s resistance to deliver an excellent full body workout appropriate for all fitness levels.

FIRM H2O

Each class will include 30-minutes of shallow water high intensity interval training, followed by 30-minutes of strength and endurance training throughout the pool for an effective total body workout.

GENTLE YOGA

HYDRO CARDIO 

A high-energy class that combines shallow and deep-water components to improve strength, definition and endurance.

LAP SWIM

Lap Swimming is an excellent cardio and muscular workout that helps prevent injuries and stress on bones and joints!

A class designed to build bone strength and enhance muscular strength and endurance, which is the ability to repeat a movement.

SMALL GROUP CIRCUIT TRAINING

This dynamic 8-class circuit-style training program focuses on individual progression from week to week with an ever-changing workout designed to get results! Through a variety of exercise, you can expect to see increased upper and lower body strength, along with improved core strength, flexibility and balance. Enjoy the benefits of a personal trainer without the cost! Group sizes are 4-6 max. No drop ins. Pre registration is necessary.

TIME TO TRI: TRIATHLON TRAINING

13 Yr Olds - Adults

Whether you want to train for your first triathlon or you are in the beginning stages of your triathlon career, this program is for you! Join Kendra, our personal trainer and Ironman athlete, for this 9-week program where you will learn how to complete a SPRINT distance triathlon OR double the plan to complete an OLYMPIC distance. Participants will meet in-person for a weekly workout, receive weekly emails with information and training tips, and have the opportunity for group rides, runs and swims!

WATER FITNESS + DEEP WATER WALKING

Water Fitness is open pool time for participants to lead themselves through any aquatics workout of their choice (treading water, water walking, aquatics weight workouts, etc). It's an excellent cardio and muscular workout that helps prevent injuries and stress on bones and joints!

Join us for yoga classes on the park lawn! No yoga experience is necessary and there is something for everyone!  Please bring your own mat or a towel.  Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather.  Cancellations will be posted on our social media pages.

Zeeland Rec is a SilverSneakers and Silver&Fit participating fitness center! SilverSneakers and Silver&Fit cover fitness center costs for 65 yr olds+ through arrangements with certain health care plans.
